I wet my hair in the shower, then applied the Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve and let it soak in for about half an hour. In addition, the product has a fine, reasonably thick structure so you can easily apply the product and you can also easily rinse it out. Blown Away I've used the Bond Salve four times now and I honestly don't know how I got by without it.

You let the product soak into your hair for 15 minutes, then rinse and then wash your hair as you normally would.High porosity hair will generally need more protein than low porosity hair, but all hair types will benefit. I divided my hair into four sections, and applied the bond curl rehab salve to each section, brushing through with a tangle teezer brush, and made sure my hair was entirely saturated. I accidentally left this on for 2 hours the first time I tried it, and was nervous my hair was going to be a dry, tangled mess, but it wasn’t. We, sadly, cannot check retrospectively if the product has a seal on it without tampering with the merchandise.

I would say to use this only if your hair is somewhat damaged because too much protein can make your hair frizzy. Curlsmith Bond Curl rehab salve is not a conditioner, it´s a lightweight intense treatment that makes hair look stronger and more resilient, apply generously on damp hair until it is fully saturated. On application, it was lightweight, smooth and had a liquid texture, meaning it was more able to achieve restoring my hair healthy and give it more of a bouncy curly texture than if I opted for a heavy creamy texture .Chia has unique curl enhancing properties and contains 9 essential amino acids related to stronger-looking hair. Bond Curl Rehab Salve is great for those who have coloured hair, although we recommend that you use it one week before or after your coloring service. My 3C/4A/4B hair has been stressed out, dry, crunchy, heat damage (some straight bits that weren't reverting). Here you will find easy-to-follow tutorials, science-based haircare tips, and guidance on picking the right products for your hair's needs.

However, we recommend that you keep using the treatment according to the guidelines of your porosity for the best results. The salve set a great foundation, leaving my hair strong and defined during shampoo and conditioning. Even if it does nothing for the curl itself, I'll probably keep using it sparingly just for the slip it provides my hair when dry. The more damaged and porous your hair is, the more protein-rich products from our Strength Recipes you should use.Powered by proteins and a superfood blend, the intense pre-shampoo treatment helps to strengthen hair, while resisting damage. I bleached my hair about nine months ago and it's been so dry and damaged, only now feeling healthier after using this product. It contains natural ingredients such as chia seed extract, creatine, shiitake extract, prickly pear fruit extract, pumpkin seed extract and more. My hair is on the mend from various rounds of color treatments, and I am always on the hunt for nourishing products to keep my coils strong and defined. I have nothing negative to say about Olaplex, but the Bond Salve knocks it out of the park and my results are always better.

In addition, this formulation includes sweet almond seed oil, known to be an excellent emollient that softens and nourishes the hair, giving a smooth texture. STEP 2: apply Bond Curl generously from root to tip, making sure the hair is evenly coated, then brush your hair to fully detangle. Please don't ever change this formulaâ€"it's perfect and I cannot thank Curlsmith enough for entering my life. I’m a new CGM convert and had been following the advice of a low porosity protein sensitive curly girl. Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve is an intense pre-shampoo treatment, rich in proteins that targets hair bonds to strengthen and repair from the inside out.I'm also still having issues with frizz all around my hairline in front and back, regardless of what I do, so I thought I would try a product with more protein to see if it would help. A concentrated treatment that strengthens the hair from within, reducing breakage and improving its look and feel. First, a little more about the Curlsmith brand, because as I mentioned before, I didn’t know this brand existed.
